“Need clothes? Giveaway is a popular stop
‘Sharing Closet’ not just for the poor.
It’s called the Sharing Closet and its name says it all – sort of.
The “closet” is actually many rooms (and the basement) of a blue house
next door to the Endwell Church of Christ, each one stuffed with
appeal for men, women and children. The “sharing” part, though is
perfectly accurate. Clothes come in from those who no longer need them
and go out the door with those who do. The prices are affordable to
even the neediest in the community: Everything’s free.
The inspiration behind the closet comes from scripture….
You don’t have to be destitute to take advantage of the opportunity….
And if you’ve got extra clothes – with no rips, stains, or missing
buttons, please – that need a new home, feel free to give the Sharing
Closet a call at (607) 748-6602.”
